Perfect Weekend--Work mixed with Family fishing time

This weekend I was assigned to shoot the Abilene Christian University football game at Eastern New Mexico State University. Sustained 30 mph winds with gusts who knows how high made for an interesting game. I was able to slip out of town a few days earlier with the family and we spent some time in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. The kids are really taking to fly fishing for rainbow trout. This was the first trip they chose to use the fly rod the entire time. Noah and Libby caught 3 rainbow trout each.

Kudos on teaching your kids how to use a fly rod early. It's one of those skills that everyone should have. It's kinda like knowing how to drive a stick shift.
